How to test USB-C 56kOhms Resistor
There are a lot of website that state that it is unsafe to charge a Nintendo Switch with a USB-C cable that doesn't include a 56kOhms resistor. However I couldn't find any simple website that explain how to measure if a USB-C to USB-A cable has the resistor or not. So I decided to test a bunch of them I had around.
For testing the USB-C connector, as the pin are really small it's better to get a female connector that provide easy board connection. The USB-A connector should be easy enough to fit the volt-meter probe directly in it.
Here is the pinout I found that had the 56kOhms resistor.
