Macro Photography Technique

This is how I proceed for my extreme close-up:
1-DMC-FZ1000 camera
2-Reverse lens adapter
3-Canon 50 mm lens
4-Lumix web app to remote control (avoid vibration)
5-Zoom between 200 and 400 mm
6-Aperture as small as possible
7-Lot of light
I take about 5-10 pictures that I allign in Adobe Photoshop and combine using Focus Stacking.
I also created a script that automate the picture process for the focus stacking. I also made it so that I can make a time-lapse out of it. It works with most Panasonic Lumix Camera with Wifi and can be found at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/lumixwififocusstack/

In those I took extreme close-up of snow flakes:


I also applied this technique to a timelapse on seed germination.
